Hmm - go to System Properties/Advanced tab - Environmental Variables. Maybe
'time' is defined with a value of 15:18?

Hi
I have a strange problem when using the TIME function in the DOS prompt
of server 2003.
If I type 'time', I get the correct time:
The current time is: 17:33:05.25
But if I type 'echo %time%', I get completely the wrong time (15:18),
which incidentally does not change at all (it always gives 15:18).
Does anyone know what the issue is here? I'm trying to adapt an old
DOS script to dynamically assign filenames based on date and time.
Thanks very much for any help.
Adrian
