You could disable the policy that causes startup scripts to
run visibly.

Hi, I already have this enabled. It does not prevent the user from closingthe
the script whilst it is running though.
I have searched through GP settings and cant see anything which prevents
user closing these scripts before they finish. I suspect this may involvedsomething
adding a line to the scripts themselves to prevent closing? This is

Change the system policy so that the logon script does not
run synchronously (I think). The result is that users won't get
access to the desktop until the logon script has completed.
It's in Administratove Templates / System.
