I am having an odd problem.
I have a network with many computers, but it seems that a number of
them are being randomly kicked off of the network from day to day.
They only way that I can get them back on is to go through the
process of changing their names and re-adding them to the network. I
have done thise several times and am looking for a solution instead
of continuing this process.
I have checked the ip-addresses in my lab and all of that looks good.
I can't imagine what would be doing this. If anyone has any
suggestions as to what to look at, or knows what the problem could
be. Please help.
Much thanks,
Jacob
What does "kicked off" actually mean in terms of symptoms?
I'm presuming you're using AD...have you checked all your event logs? On DCs
and workstations? Your post is a bit light on detail.
