hi guysrange
i have xp pro systems on a winser2003 network. DHCP also. my internal
is 192.168.150.x. I have a phone systems VOIP that is on the 192.168.250.xthe
network. my problem is that i can't seems to get one of the pc's on the
250.x network. if i give a pc a static ip like 192.168.250.250 and try and
ping the telephone server which is 192.168.250.101 then the request time
out. is there something else that i need to do to get the pc properly on
250.x network
can someone help me here, pls?
What you do is correct and you can easily confirm it by putting
som other PC on 192.168.250.102. Either the telephone server
does not respond to your pings or else a firewall is blocking your
ping attempts.
