I take it your pc's are Xp Home and not pro? The Users should not have to
put a user name and password in to access files on the server if the pc is
on the domain and they have been given access to the files. Users should not
be sharing login's. Once a user has finished they should log off and allow
the next user to login.

Hi everyone i have a small office network setup, which is connected
from my office computers by password. The problem i have is that once
logged onto the server (certain files in c drive) u can exit it and
then get back in without entering your password again unless the
computer is totally logged out and this is not suitable as differnt
people use different computers and have different permissions, i'm
using server 2003 and all other pc's use xp. any help would be
appreciated as i am a mere begginer and may have things set up back to
front anyway thanks in advance
Dan :)
