I am getting exactly the same thing! About once a day for the past
three or four days. Random services were stopped, and no one could
access shared resources. It's happening simultaneously on two 2003
servers. I have updated my Symantec AV and run full scans - nothing
found, although of course maybe they just don't know about it yet...
Please - I am desperately hoping someone has the answer!

Hi,
I'm experiencing odd events on our Windows 2003 server. This situation
occurred twice in last week and the symptoms are that all shared resources
were not available, net logon, server, and some other services were stopped.
It seems that all starts with this event in the application event log:
Faulting application svchost.exe, version 5.2.3790.1830, faulting module
netapi32.dll, version 5.2.3790.1830, fault address 0x0000a2be.
After manual start of the stopped services the situation returns to normal.
We have Windows 2003 Standard R2; 4GB RAM; ISA 2004; Exchange 2003; AD, ...
on this server.
Does somebody have any idea?
