You MAY be able to work round it. I don't know the IBM controller and you
may find some instructions for installing it. There should be an array
controller driver, and you would need to install it in Windows BEFORE you
install or activate the controller.

Does that mean I have to reinstall the OS?

Hi,
when I activate the IBM serveRAID System Windows 2003 doesn't start.
The
loading screen (win2k3 logo) comes up, but then, a few seconds later,
the
server restarts.
Everything runs fine when I deactivate serveRaid.
Any Ideas how I can run Windows 2003 with serveRaid?
When I press F8 and select the 'Do not restart at error" option.
Windows
shows me a blue screen with the message: stop: 0x0000007B (0xF789EA94,
...)
which looks not very useful to me.
System config.:
IBM Server xSeries 226
2 x IBM SCSI HD 80 GB
IBM serveRAID 7e (SCSI)
Windows Server 2003
Thanks for any help!
