Hello all,
I am having an issue at a client's that I cannot join computers to the
domain. Every time I try to join the computer it will ask for credentials,
then give the error:

"Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at
this computer."

I have tried using the email type, just the username, and also the
domain/username aspect. I get the error message in every way I try.

There are no GPs set up at this time and there is nothing in the Default
Domain Policy that is configured. Everything looks right in the DNS and
such.. Now I am at a loss. I do not find anything related to this in the
Knowledge Base as of yet.

Can someone help me/point me in the right direction?

All help/advice is welcome and appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

To join a domain you must supply the credentials
of a domain administrator.
