You do not have to re-install. You could run dcpromo to make it a
stand-alone again, but I think that would dump the user accounts.
If you do not want to re-do the users, then follow Pandu's advice and fix
your DNS. As I said before, look up "set up DNS" in the MS support knowledge
base.

Do you have a procedure on how to do this? Should I just reinstall.
Will I lose all the shares etc that I created. The way I have it setup
now all the user profiles are on the server and it took me a while to
setup the permissioning and shares properly. Thanks
