Hi all. I need to come up with an Exchange recovery procedure for
disaster recovery purposes. We have an Exchange 2003 cluster (active
passive) config with 3 DC's located on site, 10-15 DC's across the
country, and 1 DC in our DR location that is connected to our main site
via frame relay. The store is located on the SAN at the main site and
is about 90 gigs. I need to test and document a restoration of
Exchange. I don't have to restore to a cluster if I don't have to. In
fact it would be better if I don't because of hardware limitations at
the DR site.
Whats the best way to do this and the steps in the quickest time
possible to test? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If I can do this as well in a virtual environment or using apps such as
Livestate and Acronis I'm up for that. The big thing is that we'll have
48 hours to bring it back up and online.
