I have 2 new Windows 2003 servers. On one of the servers I am having
problems installing applications. I try to run setup from a cd or other
location and nothing happens. I can look at task manager and see setup
running but no screens to continue appear. This has happened with varoius
application setups. The server is not a DC, it only does some file
sharing
and application hosting. Any help would be appreciated...

Try to unload any programs running, such as virusscanners etc. Try to run
setup again. Be sure it is an supported Windows 2003 application. Not all
windows 2000 applications are good for Windows 2003

Greetings,
