I have established a two-way, transitive forest trust between two domains.
However, when I attempt to verify the trust, I get "The secure channel reset
failed with error 1727: The remote procedure call failed and did not execute"
when I use ADD&T or "Directory Binding Error 1727: The remote procedure call
failed and did not execute. This may limit some of the tests that can be
performed. Done gathering initial info" when I use NETDOM.
Both domains have one Microsoft Windows 2003 Server (SP1) as the domain
controller/DNS/DHCP/WINS. Both the Forest and Domain Functional Level are
Microsoft Windows 2003. I have DOMAIN ADMIN and ENTERPRISE ADMIN rights on
both domains. I can ping both domains. I can remote desktop into both
domains.
Any ideas?
This one really weird problem. I´m having same problem with Windows
2003 R2 and Windows 2000. I have tried every and nothing seams to help.
I can all so ping from both direction and use RDP, but verifing
(valide) the trust wont work. I get those same errros than you
Fivepin64. Only thing that i´m happy is that i´m not the only one
with this problem :)
Can anyone help us?
