I'm familiar with the Modify permission in Netware but couldn't find it
in Server 2003. All I could find was the combined Create/Write
permission. Where do I find the Modify permission?

What you can do is allow UserB Read access to the specified home folders and
then create a new sub folder there and allow the user "Modify" permissions
there. However seeing how it is in UserA home folder you would probably need
to give them Modify access to the sub folder as well.

I need to allow users access to files in other users home folders but
not be able to modify any existing files. I do however want to allow
the saving of a modified file as a new file in the original folder.
The "Create Files / Write Data" permission either allows or denies
access and modifications. How to I prevent a user from modifying
another user's files while still being able to access them and save a
modification as a new file?
