For 98 %systemroot% is the "C" drive - for XP it is "D"drive. In literature
since the author does not know where the OS is located, %systemroot% is used
to refer to the location.

I have windows98SE installed on C: drive and WindowsXP Pro on D: drive
could ypu please tell me what %SystemRoot%. would be in context to this.
Where will be my %systemroot %. How can I find this on my computer.I'm not
able to see it
