wmi service not present in services.msc

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hello,

I noticed recently that on my windows 2000 member server box, that the
Windows Management Instrumentation service is not shown in the list of
services in services.msc. I've checked and the executables are all fine. Can
someone tell me how to put this back?
