- What is the value of %1?
(state the exact value used when the command fails)
- What is the value of %2
(state the exact value used when the command fails)
- What is "perm1"?
(state the exact value used when the command fails)
- What error message do you get?
(give the exact error message)
- Shares tend to be static. Why would you want to create new
ones at boot-up time?

thanks pegasus again

the parameters are the name of the fodel that i want to shared, 9 do it
because i read some registry keys, these keys are put with the gpo and in
the script I verify that they are those that I want.

In most of the server already joint parties these folder through gpo, but
in
these 2 I must give the permissions then by hand and wanted to create
script
that it was executed to reboot

I know that %1 and %2 are parameters but unless you
tell us exactly what values they assume we cannot assist
you. Try to answer ***every*** question I asked in
my first reply, not just one of them!

thanks pegasus

- %1 and %2 are strings that i use to know if the folder is the a
folder
that i like to share.
- perm1 is the type of permission, for example everyone.

My problem is that my script works ok in the most servers but in 2
don't
work, i don't kown if there's a problem in gpo or there's another
cause.

also it can be some problem of trust with the domain

i don't know where to begin to look for the solution

thanks in advance

Hello.
I have several servers with w2k3 that when the reboot executes
script
to
share folders in most of them works but there is any no. In
script I
execute
Net Share "%1 " = " %2" /GRANT: user1, perm1.
If somebody can indicate to me by where I begin to look for.
Thanks to all.

Your post is too light on details to give you a good answer.

- What is the value of %2
- What is "perm1"?
- What error message do you get?
- Shares tend to be static. Why would you want to create new
ones at boot-up time?
- What do you mean with "most of them works but there is any no"?
