Network Problems
Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance
Hi,
We had a Windows 2003 server running as a workgroup for a year. We then
changed it to a domain. However, we had to rename this. In the end I
had to remove the domain settings, get it back to workgroup. Then we
had to change it back to domain. After this some software such as our
APC SmartUPS, and HP Toolbox is having network problems.
Therefore does anyone know of a tool that can be run to ensure all the
settings on the system are correctly aligned?
It does appear to be running correctly as a domain controller, but its
just these issues with some of software trying to communicate to the
network, even on loopback. They seem to think there is a firewall when
there is not one.
Please help
Thanks
David
