s/w setup fails

Installing s/w fails on win2k3 standalone server - errmsg: "The Setup program
cannot be run under a user account other than the logged on user. To
install..., you must be logged on as a local Administrator or member of the
Administrators group." I am a member of the Administrator group. Most s/w
fails to install, but Adobe Acrobat installed with no problem. Please help!
