Jabez,

Followed the instructions, problem still persists.

Unfortunately by doing the instructions below this wiped out the
update history that I could get the installed date of SP1.

Absolutely no updates have been installed sucessfully sice the
installation of SP1. Prior to SP1 no problem. Really poor this
situation.

Paul,

Your email bounced. I'll be posting the workaround here:

Dear Paul,

You are getting error "0x80242000" and "0x8024400D" from what I see from
the
log file.

May I know from what date till what date do you have SP1 installed? This
will ease me in reading the log file.

In the meantime, let me suggest that you try logging in as Administrator
and
going to windowsupdate.com and download and install all updates manually
there.

If the above doesn't work, try this instead:

1) Close all IE Windows

2) Control Panel -> Internet Options -> Delete Temporary Internet Files

3) Control Panel -> Admin Tools -> Services -> Stop the "Automatic
Updates"
service

4) Delete everything in "C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore"

5) Delete everything in "C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download"

6) Control Panel -> Admin Tools -> Services -> START the "Automatic
Updates"
service

Hope this helps,

Jabez Gan
