Do you havea domain?
Is this workstation part of that domain?
What exactly do you mean by keep off the network? Do mean access to servers,
internet access?
Generically speaking the best and easiest way is through a mac filter in
your hardware.
But there are lots of other ways of stopping certain kinds of access.
How do I block a particular laptop computer from getting on to the
network?
The laptop is running Windows XP Home and I have it's mac address,
physical
address and user name.
