Symantec - running on desktop C drive

We have Symantec. From the previous networking admin, I was told it was set
to run scans each night on desktop workstations. I see that the virus
definitions are up to date -- I see that the C drive is supposed to be
scanned -- but i don't see any actual scheduling of that. How can i find
out if it was actually run? I look on the client's desktop but there is no
information there (including no scheduled backups). The desktop doesn't
tell me whether it was run or not.

Obviously this is a big issue for me.
