This can be done, if you are using Win Server 2003. There is a utility
called "Access-Based Enumeration"
have a look at these links on how..
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/techinfo/overview/abe.mspx

It is simple to setup. I currently use it in our environment, and it works
fine.

My take on this is that Mike has a share setup that has multiple
directories under it (as he stated). He wants to hide those folders that
users don't have access to when they connect to the share.
This cannot be done. Even if the user has no access to a directory, they
can still see that it exists. You can hide the folder through it's
properties, but then if the user enables viewing of system and hidden
folders, they will still be able to see it. I can't say whether or not a
third party app is out there that will do what you want, but as far as I
know it can't be done.

Absolutely. You can hide any folder you want as long as you share it out
with the $ wildcard.

Is there a way to hide all folders that users don't have access to?
In other words, is there a way to have a shared folder with alot of
other
folder in it, but users can only see what they have access too? Thanks
.
