Re: Can you find when someone logs in?

Start menu > run eventvwr.exe. Check the security log.
Unfortunately it will not be retroactive.

Hello Isaac,

I was able to do that. Now, how do I locate the logs?

Thanks,

Phil.

Windows only tracks your logins if you specifically configure it to
"Audit
account logon events". Unfortunately, by default auditing is not
enabled.

To enable it run gpedit.msc. Set the "Audit account logon events" policy
under Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local
Policies\Audit Policy

Hello,

I am trying to find a way to locate a record of when I've logged
on/off on
my workstation. The reason that I need to do this is because I need
some
way
to find out how many hours I've worked in the past month, as my elec.
file
that I was using to track my work time has gotten corrupted, and
evidently
no
back-up was being made at all.

BTW, I have FULL Admin rights to this workstation, if that helps.

Thanks for your replies,

Phil.
