Beyond that w2k is 5-6 years old; I would go with the newer os.
I will assume software raid. Create partition for operating system on disk
0. You will have to determine partition size based on whatever else you are
installing. I suggest somewhere between 12-20 gigs. Once the os is installed
configure mirroring to the second drive for the os partition. You then can
use the balance of your drive space for data and mirror if you like.
If you have a hardware raid controller you would mirror the drives before
starting the install; using the utility that came with the controller. In
general this is better than a software raid.
