Hello,
sorry for my english, because i'm french end i don't speek english very well.
I have a Hp proliant ML 350 G3 with smart array 532 with mirror volume.
My controller raid is dead, i have changed my card smart array 532 by smart
array 630.
When i start my server, the new controller detect with non problem my mirror, widows begin boot i'm happy for the moment :) but blue screen inacessible boot device because my installation of windows 2003 don't have the drivers for the new controller.
How change the drivers in windows offline.
I have a ERD commander, but i don't know how to change the driver after load
the registry of my installation.
I have try to change the registry key HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\cpqcissm
and change the drivers in windws\system32\drivers but don't work. Thank you for you help and sorry again for my english.
You cannot change the RAID controller drivers offline. It sounds like you should do a repair install of Windows to redetect the driver - or get another 532 card from another server temporarily, boot up with that, install the new SCSI driver, turn the system off, put the 630 card in, and then boot up.
