Windows 2003 mirrored boot volume
Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance
Hi All,
OS of the machine : windows 2003 server standard edition SP1 32bits
I create a mirrored boot volume using diskpart on disk 0 (boot disk
converted to dynamic disk) and disk 1 (mirror disk converted to dynamic
first)
I lost disk 0.
The server can not boot on disk 1, except while using a bootable floopy. I'd
like the server to boot without using such a floopy.
I tried then retain command in Diskpart and FIXBOOT and FIXMBR commands in
the Recovery Console but it didn't work.
Have you an idea?
Thanks for your Help
Didier
