Dhcp Problem!!!!!

I Have recently installed windows 2003 server
i have tried to add a role but it comes up that it cannot complete the
process because the DHCP could not be installed what could be causing
this
i have tried to do it again 3 times with no success all the different
roads lead to the same error

Any help would be appreciated
