Inherited permissions strangeness
Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance
Hi,
Server 2003.
I've got a strange situation with inherited permissions where I've got
a bunch of folders that claim to have permissions for a specific user
inherited from parent folder but the parent folder doesn't have any
explicit permissions for that user (generally our permissions are set
for groups and the parent folder only appears to have permissions set
for groups). Why do the child folders all have explicit permissions for
a user that claim to be from the parent folder when the parent folder
does not have any permissions listed for this user?
Cheers,
Timboi
