Hi - I am trying to give access to some users to a DCOM application (Windows 2003, via Component Services DCOM config).
If I create a Windows group, add the users to it, and give access to
that, I get the above error ('The application-specific permission
settinsg do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server
application with CLSID ... to the user ... SID ...'). However, if I
give access to the users directly, it works.
Is it possible to give access to groups rather than users, and if so,
how?
