Windows 2000 Server Problem

Hello,
we have a problem with a Windows 2000 Server SP3.
A day last week the Desktop appears empty.
The day before all woks fine.
In the event log viewer I can't find any error or warning and no viruses
where found (I try Trend Micro, eTrust Antivirus, CLRAV and Stinger).
What can I do???
