printer properties error

Hi

We have printers shared through Win Server 2003. From my workstation, I
would go into the printer properties and click on the Ports tab. Then when
I click on Configure Port button, a message popping up - saying "An error
occurred during port configuration. This operation is not supported."

On the server itself, I would do the same thing, but I get only half of the
error. On the server, when I click on Configure Port button, I can see the
IP and everything. But, when I cancel out of that screen, an message says
"An error occurred during port configuration."

Please let me know if you have come across this issue and how to resolve it.
These printers are HP laserjets and HP inkjet. They are all IP-based
printers.
