Help! I have a major problem here. We have a Windows 2003 SBS and today it
just started rebooting randomly on it's own. The event log shows the
following "crash" information......
Event Type: Error
Event Source: System Error
Event Category: (102)
Event ID: 1003
Date: 10/17/2005
Time: 12:40:57 PM
User: N/A
Computer: BASERVER
Description:
Error code 1000007e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2 8059e2dc, parameter3
b898f58c, parameter4 b898f1dc.
Another discovery I found is that there were some Microsoft Updates
installed at 3:00am today which required the server to restart. Never had a
problem before these updates were installed. The server has crashed 5 times
since these MS Updates were installed. Here are the specific updates
installed.....
KB899589, KB896688, KB902400, KB905495, KB901017, KB900725, KB904706,
KB905414
Has anyone else experienced any problems after installing these updates? Is
it safe to just uninstall them from the Add/Remove Software applet?
Thanks.
