| What we have IIS
| Windows 2000 SP4
| ASP.net v1.1.4322
| Virtual Site set to use windows authentication.
|
| When we go to our site the user information is being passed to the sql
box,
| but when we try to access a remote share through our asp script We get
| access denied.
| So I enabled audit logon on the remote file server (Windows 2000) to see
| what information was beeing passed and it is ANONYMOUS LOGON and not the
| user who is accessing the site
| Verified that the share and security is set to use everyone with full
| control. To verify this was an issue with IIS we published the site and
| application to a windows 2003 box and everything works like a champ. I
| verified that username was being passed to the remote file server and it
| was.
|
| How can resolve this issue with IIS5/W2K passing the ANONYMOUS LOGON
instead
| of the actual user?
|
| Daniel
