Check the TCP/IP settings on the NIC. Is DHCP enabled? Is it pointing to the
right DNS server?
What is the result of IPCONFIG /ALL ? Do they match what you expect?
Were the entries in DNS and AD correctly removed?
Can you ping the DC by IP and/or by name?
