Rollup1 for Sp4 Version2

Hi,

I applied the original version of the rollup service pack onto two of my servers and both servers have mirrored the system drive to drive 'F:'.

When I try to install version 2 of the rollup, I receive the following message.
"Update Rollup 1 Setup Error
The system must be restarted before installing the Update Rollup 1, to allow some prior file update operation to complete. (These operations were previously scheduled by some other install or uninstall operation)"

I have re-booted the server at least 3 time to try and resolve this, so I can only presume that it's misinformation...

Currently my system drive is pointing to drive 'F:' as opposed to 'C:' as can be seen from the 'set' command...

I presume that this is what is causing the error.
How do I go about rebooting the server so that drive 'C:' becomes the system drive?

I have renamed the registry key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\MountedDevices]
"\\DosDevices\\F:" to "\\DosDevices\\C:"
Booted into recovery console and have done a "fixmbr c:" followed by a "chkdsk /p".

Any further advice to get drive C: back as the system drive so that I can install this patch would be GREATLY appreciated!
