sp1 on DC install

Hi,
We have 2 win2k3 dc's
Both global catalog
dc2 does the wins and dhcp

I am going to install sp1, here is my planned procedure:
1. backup both dc's
2. shut down dc1
3. install sp1 on dc2, reboot, test
4. assuming all is well with dc2, shut down dc2
5. turn on dc1
6. install sp1 on dc1, reboot, test
7. if all is well with dc1, turn on dc2, test some more

This sound good? Is it better to have one dc down while the other is
updating?
