Mike,
It sounds like your server is not routing packets to the local network make
sure that in routing and remote access under the properties of your RAS
server it has Router Checked, Remote Access Server and LAN and demand dial
routing selected.
In the IP Tab make sure that Enable IP routing, Allow IP-based remote access
and demand-dial connections are checked. Under Adapter select the Network
Adaptor for your private network. Check that your private adaptor is
configured with your DNS server and domain name.
If it still doesn’t work try disabling routing and remote access and the
re-enable it.
This will run you through the RAS set up wizard.
