Re: disable network printer auto searching in XP

Jason,
At the end of article 320138, it states "This functionality is disabled if
more than 32 computers with shared resources are detected on your network,
if you are joined to a domain, if you are using a dial-up or a VPN
connection, or if an administrator has disabled the functionality by using
Group Policy." I have seen dozens of domains and not one of them has the
feature disabled. New computers ALWAYS get this stupid "feature" that
installs every shared network printer on the LAN. I have to go in and clean
up all auto-added printers.
