RE: IDs deleted




Hi,

Do not worry. You have not told me about the File system on the drive where
the data is located but I will presume it to be NTFS as it would be the best
choice. I also presume you are a Administrator on the sever. Login with any
user who as Administrative rights. Go to the Properties of the Drive or Data
folder and go to the security tab. You will find the Advanced button there.
Open the window and go to the owner tab. Take ownership of the drive or
folder where the files are. You will become the owner. Now log off and login
and you will be able to access the files. You can make others owner too if
the files are confidential files.
