Question with moving drive folders...

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

We have two servers, SERVER1 and SERVER2. Right now there is a shared
folder on SERVER1 called \\SERVER1\DATA. Inside this folder there are
dozens of other folders. All of the users on the network have a mapped
drive letter N: that connects to \\SERVER1\DATA.

We are going to retire this server in the next few months. We have
purchased SERVER2 to be our new file server. I would like for the migration
of all the data to go smoothly so that when the users log in the next Monday
their N: now maps to \\SERVER2\DATA and the subfolders under DATA keep the
same permissions they have now.

How difficult is that?

Thanks!
