Have you got the Dell Open manage software installed, this is good for system diagnostics.

Hi,
We have two Windows 2003 Dell PowerEdge servers. One is the DC and runs Exchange and Trend AV, the other runs as file server, SQL server - both run Veritas Backup Exec v9.1. All service packs and updates for all software have been installed.
The problem is that each server hangs at least once a week, forcing a restart by cutting and restoring power. There are no event logs at all - the server simply becomes un-responsive.
Is anyone else having a simlar problem? How can I track down the cause of the problem? As the only software that is common to both servers is the OS itself and Veritas, I suspect the problem lies with one or other.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Mark
