RPC Fails after applying SP1

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I have had this trouble since I installed SP1 last week. The RPC fails during
startup and you get the message, "One or more services failed during
startup." If you navagate to the services explorer and right click on RPC,
you do not have the ablity to stop/start or restart RPC. Once the RPC went
down so did our NetTime and DHCP. This is a small company server so it was
doing multiple things. Here is the event log that keeps poping up every 3-5
minutes.

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Userenv
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1090
Date: 7/7/2005
Time: 12:18:53 PM
User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
Computer: ******
Description:
Windows couldn't log the RSoP (Resultant Set of Policies) session status. An
attempt to connect to WMI failed. No more RSoP logging will be done for this
application of policy.
