RE: Disable Print Events in Event Viewer

There is no way in the event log to stop logging specific events--control can
be in the application itself.
In the event viewer, you can create a filter to specify what you want to see
(but include only, not exclude). To access this, right-click on an event log
in the viewer to bring up the properties page for that log. Then go to the
filter tab and create your filter. You need to return here to clear a filter.
One very common filter is to just show error and warning events. This will
"hide" the event you mention below.
