Moving the event logs from one disk to the other?

Setting up a system that will consist of a number of different Windows 2003
servers and was wondering if anyone had any insight into the core build of
my Windows 2003 SP1 servers.

Each system consists of 2 mirrored high speed SCSI drives, C: and D: (75GB
each), and 2GB of RAM

C: has the OS

D: has the I386 directory and the SWAP file, no SWAP on C: (figured better
I/O performance)

For my DC's I've moved the SYSVOL to D:

For my SMS and Exchange I've installed the application to the D: disk...

I was wondering a couple things:

1.) If I point my Event Logs to sit on D: will it highly impeed performance
( Logging is critical to our org for security reasons)

2.) Should I have my SQL 2000 installed on C: or D:?

3.) Will the fact the DCs have their info on D: and the Event Logs interfer
with performance as well as the SWAP?

Any thoughts are appreciated...
