Share the 'top' directory to all users then select sharing on the folder and
remove the tick in the 'In herit rights. . . .' box (lower left corner) then
Add the user for that directory and its also a good idea to Add a backup
user incase things get confused. Tick the box(es) for the user rights you
want to grant ( the top one gives all rights) then Apply and save. You are
right in that Novell is much much better on this score, but win2k3 is
getting there with full rights as a matter of fact for the administrator to
all folders.
