Security Configuration Wizard & GPO

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Hi everyone,

Question about Security Configuration Wizard:

I have read SCW is only compatible with Windows Server 2003 SP1.

But it’s possible to use the scwcmd.exe /transform command to convert a SCW
policy to a GPO.

So, in this case, can I use this GPO to secure my Windows 2000 Servers and
Windows 2003 Servers (non SP1) if I remove all W2K3 SP1 parameters (by
example, Windows Firewall) ?

Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks.

Maxence
