Problem with W2k3 SP1

Hi all,

I recently installed SP1 on my Windows 2003 server. After that whenever I
try to access the system event log I am getting the error message that it is
corrupt. The other 2 event logs are accessible. I have tried deleting the
sysevent.evt and recreating it. It works as long as I do not reboot, after a
reboot and I try to access it again I get the same message. Has anyone else
experience this?

Also I know it must be a problem with the service pack because I formatted
the hard drive and reinstalled to operating system and the error only occurs
after the installation of the service pack.

Cheers,
Sam
.
