Can't access network resources

I have a Windows 2003 Server, with service pack 1 applied, acting as a
domain controller and it also servers as a file server. It was added to
Windows 2000 domain and I have a single Windows 2000 DC left in the domain.
My problem is that I can't access any shares on anyother server or
workstation from the Windows 2003 domain controller except for those on the
remaining Windows 2000 DC, even logged in as the domain admin. The shares
on the 2003 domain controller/ fileserver are accessible from all other
computers on my network. All of the servers are part of the same domain,
site and subnet.
Remarkably I can browse to them but can't access them. I get
\\server\sharename is not accessible. You might not have permission to use
this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out
if you have access permissions. The account is not authorized to log in
from this station.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
