boot.ini issue

First off...not the most knowledgable guy in the world...
That said, I have a problem with an installation of Win 2003 server. I
had the system flake out (password became dead) on me about 6 months
ago and in my stupidity, I installed the OS again in a different
partition so I could get into the machine. Well, since then I have 2
options on the boot menu...one of which goes nowhere since I also
deleted the new installation partition after I got into the original
installation.
My boot.ini reads...
[boot loader]
timeout=30
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Windows Server 2003,
Standard" /fastdetect
The extra option that is in my boot loader screeen is..it is listed
right under the 'Windows Server 2003...." line.
Windows (default)
As you can see, there is no mention of this line in the ini file at
all...
I know I did this all wrong and am well aware of the mistakes I made.
I just need to know how to make the machine boot back into the original
partition so it doesn't hang up when I reboot.
Thanks...
.
