who is Machinename$

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

We have a windows 2003 web server named ServerA which has an ODBC connection
string using UNC to access some Visual FoxPro tables on another server named
ServerB, ServerB is an win2k server. On serverB, through computer
management-shared Folders-Sessions and Open Files, we noticed ServerA is
using user ServerA$ to connect to ServerB.

Anyone knows who is Machinename$, and any reference would be great!
